I've watched some vids on it, the controls are nice along with the sights, and that built in laser rocks! So what do you guys think?

Sure has a lot of buttons and switches on the side...what do they all do?

I did have the opportunity to shoot the new Taurus TCP 380 side by side against the Ruger LCP, and we all much preferred the Taurus, so you may want to check out the Taurus as well.

The new Kahr 380 is a very nice shooting gun, but they have to work out some glitches with the feeding before I'd recommend it to anyone.

As small as many of the 9mm handguns are, I question the need of the 380.

Kahr makes a great little 9mm for around $400 and Kimber has the new Solo out (which is a little pricey). You can get a new Smith 442 or 642 (.38 spl) for around $360+ tax now. My problem with the super compact .380s is they are so hard to shoot. In just a little larger gun you can get something that is controllable w/ real sights. And if they are only useful for contact distances, then why not carry something with more power so that after you fire a shot or five you aren't waiting for someone to bleed to death?

I carry either a Glock 23 or 27 when I'm wearing shorts. If I'm wearing pants, it's likely that I have a FN Hi Power or full size Government Model in my waistband. If I ever run into the unfortunate circumstances that I have to shoot someone to save my life, I want to make sure they are dead so they don't get away while I'm in the bushes puking my guts out.

Good points all! It (Bodyguard) comes with a laser and I think that is a good idea. I do need to get more serious. About carrying enough pistol. After the new year I'll make it a point to get some good holsters and maybe a new 642 or whatever.

Just shot mine today for the first time. Once I got the laser tuned in I was hitting consistent bulls at 24 feet. But that double action only is going to take me getting used to it. It is my only pistol that uses that action.

People say I'm paranoid because I have so many guns. If I have so many guns, what do I need to be paranoid about?
