Die Deutsche Wochenschau is the Weekly German Newsreel. These were made between 1940 and the end of WWII, the last I could find was for March22, 1945, perhaps when the production crew fled Berlin for their own safety. Someone has put these on YouTube and you can find them by searching there with "Die Deutsche Wochenschau". I am not sure how many reels are loaded there but there are very many. They are five to ten minutes long. If you speak German you should be in for a treat, the rest of us will have to guess at the narration. I assume these were the official weekly newsreels that would have been shown in theaters all over wartime Germany. A treat to find!
