Posts: 17215 Apr 8 12 2:48 PM Owner/operator Reply Quote More My Recent Posts	Tags : None I picked up a really nice 40-194 (1972) 6.5" 41 magnum today in 90% all original condition for $350 otd at a not so local pawn shop.It was a great day I guess since I have been looking for an unaltered 3 screw Ruger for a while. But to find this one in such fine shape made my day! I'm a huge fan of the 41 magnum and will use it on close range SC whitetails this season. Picking up any Ruger for that ain't a bad day but a Blackhawk makes it a very good day! Might just be the caliber. the .41 mag has a very dedicated but limited following. Might just be none of them folks came along holding down the price. Anyway, congrats!! Posts: 701 Apr 23 13 12:41 AM Reply Quote More My Recent Posts	I've always wanted a .41 mag, ever since firing one in the early 70's, but never either had funds when one was available, or one available when I had the cash ... Until a couple of gunshows back when a never-fired & in the original box 1978 model popped up. The price was right. I ordered some 210 Gr. Berry's Bullets before the big shortage & backorder occurred, but only have a handful of brass to reload. Anyone have any favorite loads? I'm considering 8 Gr. Unique, but haven't gotten around to making up any test loads yet. Nothing is foolproof to a talented fool.
