This is a couple of photos of my 'new' Lee Enfield. I bought it from my mother in law whos husband bought it from the South African army, not entirely sure when. I saw this is a great sight with lot of enthusiasts and whould like to join the forum. I am not entirely sure about a couple of the markings on the rife, such as M.B.13 behind the front sight. I whould like to know more about my specific rifle and Enfields in general. I read from your site it was in the first batch of MK 2's made in england, 1949, and asume 10 meansOktober. Also not entireley sure about the x (kross stamp) on the bolt, and a couple of other places. All the cerial numbers match on my rifle.
Thanks en Dankie
