Kale Short Rifle made in 1945? Not impressed with the selection on Ebay or GunBroker, so thought I'd start putting my feelers in the water elsewhere. Call me if you have one that won't break the bank, and would be a nice representation for my rifle. Thanks, Ryan 9103203428

With the glut of cheap Turks w/ bayos and plentiful cheap Turk ammo (pretty hot) in bulk nobody probably thought it would be difficult to get these in the future. But everything comes to an end.

Posts: 14439 Aug 23 12 6:27 PM Forum Co-Administrator Reply Quote More My Recent Posts	Back when Navy Arms/Gibbs used to come to the shows in Charleston and Huntington (early 90's), they had a huge box of refurbished/rebuilt Turk bayonets, the box was a very large 4'x4' looking container, jammed full of bayonets for just a few dollars each. I had bought a Syrian MAS 49 from them and got to grab a bayonet out of the box, they were giving them away literally and figuratively.

Posts: 61 Jan 14 13 6:50 AM Reply Quote More My Recent Posts	THe Turkish mfg 1935 is the most common one sold on Ebay and gunbroker.Usually listed as German which it isnt.Then you have all the others that are made from WW1 German bayonets shortened and all the Orginal Turkish Mauser bayonets also shortened.They are all listed in "Bayonets from Janzens Notebook" which is a good general reference on all Military bayonets.It is also available on line but I have not seen for how much it goes for now.The Turkish made 1935 is usually in the best conditon because they were mfg new buy the Turks.
