Turk'ed 1888 Commission Rifle as modified by Germans and Turks. The barrel is surprisingly good with shiny rifling, a tight muzzle and tight lock-up on a dummy round. Apologies for the reproduction GEW98 sling. Anyway, you can still make out part of the GEW 88 on the left side receiver rail. It came with a (replacement?) beech handguard in NOS condition. The stock is pretty despite the handling marks, scratches and gouges. No import marks apparent. I have only seen one other for sale (in person) in the past 20 years; same price as this one, $125. As mentioned in the other forum, the most modified rifle I own. Gotta love it. Thanks for looking and best wishes. Dave
PS: Another anniversary present from my beloved wifey. ![]()
