52 & 53 Hungarian M44's |

Had a great day at the OGCA show in Wilmington, Ohio, always a great show and there where more Mosins there than I had cash for, including a couple of nice pre 1900 Dragoons. These 2 rifles found me rather than me finding them, both off people walking around and both eager to sell. I didn't need a 53 since I have a #'s matching one but for $100.00 I figured I couldn't go wrong. The 52 was a little more and has a pristine bore, and since I didn't have a 52 I snapped it up. Both are mix masters although the 53 has all 02 parts, the 52's bolt parts have no stampings that give away the origin of it, but the SN does appear to be Hungarian as does the mag. which is Hungarian.
