Great Guns on Boardwalk Empire! |

This show is set in AC in the 1920's. It's about fictionalized kingpin Enoch "Nucky" Thompson who runs an Irish mob. The show is on HBO and the gunpay is very realistic. There are other gangs that Nucky deals with and they are all armed with a large variety of guns. Thompsons, Winchester 97's, Remington Model 11's, 1911 .45's, Smith & Wesson's, you name it. This past Sunday, one of the characters, a disfigured WWI vet named Richard Harrow, unpacked his arsenal in anticipation of going back into the hitman business. From an ammo box he unpacked a 1903 Colt automatic, a Savage .32, a French .32 whose name escapes me, a .455 Webley Mark VI, a Smith Triple Lock, a sawed off Remington Model 11 and a sporterized M1917 rifle. All in all a very good show with lots of great props, story lines and action.
