Hey all, just got a turked 88/05 and have a few questions. First off I will say this rifle is pretty neat! Picked it up at a local pawn shop for $200 and I am very happy with it. It is a Amberg 1890 and in surprisingly good shape for being 122 years old. The wood is dry so applying blo to help with that. Bluing is. also in nice shape, the barrel looks as if the thing was hardly used. Now for my questions I slugged and it measures at. 318 so it has to be the original barrel. Is there anyway I can reload for this with out getting custom dies? I am an impatient person and I don't feel like waiting three months to shoot it. My other question is for reloading what type of loads and powder should I use I understand from researching that it should be kept below a certain fps. So what kind of recipe should I use. Thanks for the help guys........... Mike
