Walther Model 2 |
Lead | |||||||||

A Walther Model 2 came to live with me recently that was shipped home by a WW-II GI who worked in a military postal service unit. He built a wood crate and loaded it with three rifles but no packing. As a consequence, my rifle is not in the best of condition but is still a good example of a somewhat rare rifle. I assume it was built in the 30s but doubt it was ever officially used as a trainer. It is a very cool rifle that operates similar to the Springfield/Stevens model 87.
