Original Military Stocks for VZ24 Mausers |
Lead | |
|
I own a 1928 Czechoslovakian Republic VZ24 (8mm) Mauser that I inherited from my Great Uncle. My gunsmith informs me that the rifle is in good condition and that the value of my Mauser would increase significantly if I replaced the sporterized stock currently on the rifle with an original military stock. As I understand the VZ24 rifle, there were two variations on the rifle bolt configuration: a straigt bolt [model 47] and a bolt that was belt downward [model 48]. My rifle is a model 47 with the straight bolt. Can anyone tell me where I may be able to buy an original militaty stock with hardware for my VZ24?
